Women’s Health Month Programs Begin May 14 At MS Kirby Library

Learn what healthy, nutritional foods can do to improve and maintain health, happiness and productivity and see how food choices affect women and their families; present and future.

Donna J. Fetzko MS in Holistic Nutrition, Certified Nutritional Consultant, and Registered Yoga Teacher will present the program Women and Nutrition on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00 at the Marian Sutherland Kirby Library. Donna teaches nutrition part time at Keystone College and offers nutrition and yoga classes to communities in and around Tunkhannock; where she resides. Donna believes in a holistic approach to wellness and enjoys the opportunity to share her passion with others.

Tuesday, May 27 at 6:00--A Woman’s Guide to Diabetes with Donna Yuscavage, RN, BSN, CDE—discussion includes diabetes prevention and management basics that are specific to women’s issues.

Wednesday, 28 at 6:30--The Perfect Diet for You with Jacki Rydzefski, LPN, CHHC, AADP— learn tips to find a diet that works for you along with a smoothie making demonstration. (Limit 30)

An additional program to take place in June with Dr. Barbara Plucknett of Advanced Gynecology Associates will be added shortly.
