Twenty-four Wilkes University 2014 Doctor of Pharmacy graduates will pursue post-graduate training across the country.
Stacy Prelewicz, Wapwallopen, will pursue post-graduate year-one training in pharmacy practice at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. Stacy is the daughter of Debbie and Rob Prelewicz.
Meagan Williams, Mountaintop will engage in post-graduate year-one training in pharmacy practice at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Va. Meagan is the daughter of Dee and Dave Williams.
Post-graduate training in the pharmacy field includes residencies, fellowships and doctorate programs. Although not required for practice, the training allows pharmacists to work in advanced positions within the profession. Residencies may be a one-or two-year commitment.
