St. Mary’s ChurchAnnounces Weekly Schedule

St. Mary’s of Dorrance is a welcoming church. The pastor of St. Mary’s is Reverend Joseph Evanko, and Reverend Gerald Shantillo, Assistant Pastor. The weekend Mass schedule is Saturday at 5:30 p. m. and Sunday at 9 a. m.

Thursday, May 29 is Ascension Thursday, a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times for Saint Mary and Saint Jude are included in the weekly Liturgy Schedule.

Religious Education Classes resume Sunday, September 7 at 10 a. m.

The next meeting of St. Theresa’s Guild will be held on Tuesday, June 10 at 7 p. m. in the dining room. Thank you to all Guild members for your help to make the First Holy Communion success. The Knights of Columbus will meet Wednesday, June 4 at 7:30 p. m. in the social hall. For information on becoming a member call Tony 868.8401, or John 379.3721.

St. Mary’s Community Outreach Team will meet is Wednesday, June 11 at 7 p. m. in the meeting room. Rosaries are made prior to the Wednesday meetings beginning at 6 p. m. Bazaar Meeting will be held Monday, June 9 at 7 p. m. in the social hall.

The parish community will recite the Rosary every month on the 13th day at 11 a. m. in the Prayer Garden. In case of inclement weather recitation will be in the Church. All are invited and encouraged to attend.

The Youth Group will meet is Sunday, June 1, time to be announced. Updates can be found on our Facebook page; Saint Mary’s of Dorrance Youth Group.

Our students will be traveling to West Virginia to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. Students will leave on Sunday, July 20 and return on Saturday, July 26. Cost of the trip is $400. Saint Mary’s students will pay $150 with fundraising. Applications are available from the parish office

Mark your calendars for July 2! Light the Fire will be held at Misericordia University on July 2. Cost is $30 -our students pay $25 due to our fund-raising. Forms will be available soon. For more information come to a youth group meeting or call the parish office.
