WYOMING SEMINARY STUDENTS PERFORM AT CARNEGIE HALL

WYOMING SEMINARY STUDENTS PERFORM AT CARNEGIE HALL-Five Wyoming Seminary Lower School students were recently chosen to perform in the 12th Annual Honors Recital in the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall, New York City. The students took part in the annual Northeast Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association (NEPMTA) Carnegie Hall Competition held at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre. The Sem musicians were among 72 students from the Wilkes-Barre and Scranton areas who performed in the recital. Seen following the NEPMTA competition are, from left: Jakson Amend, fifth grade, Mountain Top, piano performance; Nicole Amoachi, sixth grade, piano performance; Christina Kaspar, fifth grade, vocal performance; Danica Polachek Mits, eighth grade, vocal performance. Mia Raineri, seventh grade, piano performance, was also selected.
