Eugene Jeffrey Adams, age 51, 6 Parkway North, Mountaintop, was charged with three felony counts of Burglary –Overnight Accommodation, No Person Present, Criminal Trespass-Break Into Structure, and Criminal Attempt –Burglary –Overnight Accommodation, No Person Present and a Misdemeanor Theft by Unlawful Taking-Movable Property on July 16, 2014 by Fairview Police.
According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause Sgt. Phil Holbrook and Chief Joe Intellicato responded to a call at 1 Park Lane North. There had been recent burglaries in the area. Sgt. Holbrook spoke to the homeowner Walt Bogumil, who was not on scene. A check of the residence found an air conditioner pushed aside in an upstairs window accessible from the garage roof. Holbook received a call from 911, while he was onsight of persons reporting a white male running from the area wearing baggy shorts, a blue shirt and baseball cap. The caller told Holbrook that the male ran toward Greystone, where Sgt Rozitski located Eugene Adams, who was wearing the described clothing. Adams was detained
Adams was found to have a hammer and screwdriver in his possession along with several pieces of jewelry and $260 cash. Sgt Holbrook read Adams his Miranda rights and he admitted to breaking into the residence at 1 Park Lane North earlier in the day and went back a second time, when he set off the alarm. Adams did not get in the second time.
Adams admitted to police that he went to 1 Park Lane North at 10 am on July 16, climbed on the roof of the garage, slid the air conditioner to the side and slipped into the window. Adams said he took a gold bracelet from the bedroom jewelry box and left the residence through the same window. Adams said he came back later and tried to enter through the same window this time setting off the alarm and he ran toward the area were police found him.
A preliminary hearing before Magistrate Ron Swank is scheduled for July 30, 2014 at 10:00 a. m.

William Joseph Klinger, age 21, 212 Main Street, Glen Lyon, 18617 with DUI First Offense, Failure to Stop at Stop Sign and Failure to Yield at Yield sign on July 17, 2014.
According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Patrolman Aaron Fromm was traveling north on South Main Road at about 2:23 a. m. approaching the intersection with Church Road in a fully marked police cruiser. Fromm observed a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling west on Church Road drive through the intersection at S. Main Rd. without stopping for the stop sign. Fromm turned behind the vehicle and observed it travelling down the center of the roadway at a high rate of speed. Fromm then activated the emergency lights and stopped the vehicle on Church Road.
Klinger had the smell of alcoholic beverage coming from his breath, glossy eyes, and difficulty locating his driver’s license, registration and insurance. Klinger said he had 1 or 2 beers. Klinger agreed to field sobriety tests but was unable to perform all tests correctly. He placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and taken to the Wright Police Station. Klinger was then transported to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital where blood was drawn. He was released into his friend Mithchell Hildebrand’s custody at the hospital. Klinger is awaiting preliminary hearing.
