ST. JUDE STUDENTS CREATE DNA MODEL-As part of the seventh grade science curriculum on cellular function, the students learned about the structure and function of DNA, deoxyribonucleic acid. They created a life-size DNA molecule by using the popular KNEX building sets. The students studied the chemical components of DNA and then built the model molecule using different KNEX colors to represent the different parts of DNA.
