You are invited to worship at the Presbyterian Church of Mountain Top. The church is located at 9 Chestnut Street, just off North Main Street.

The Presbyterian Church has been serving Jesus at this location for almost 30 years and is part of the history of Mountain Top and this nation.

The church offers Sunday school for all ages, with a large adult group led by Dr. Wes Mullen. Sunday School meets a 9:30am every Sunday morning, and the Worship service is held at 11:00am.

Pastor James Shanley delivers a bible based message that both educates and encourages all who hear his gifted sermons.

The worship is led by the gifted organist, Bill Blannett, who leads the choir in music that ministers to the heart and mind.

There are many ministry opportunities to learn and serve at the Presbyterian Church. A Women’s Bible Study and fellowship is held the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm. The women study and discuss Gods Word lead by Carin Shanley, and enjoy a time of fellowship and refreshments afterwards. This group travels to different homes each month. Pastor Shanley offers a Bible class the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at the church. The participants are lead to a deeper understanding and application of the scriptures.

The first Wednesday morning of the month at 10:00am, the Presbyterian Women meet. They plan and execute many of the fundraising and ministry outreaches of the church. They are currently preparing to make their famous Chili. As an outreach they have chosen to serve Ruth’s Place with donations that include: clothes, household items and monetary assistance. The women are currently studying the book “A Cast of Characters” by Max Lucado. After the meeting they enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

The church also participates in donating to the Mountain Top Food Bank and serving at the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen.
