The Crestwood girls’ softball team dominated Coughlin in a game played April 25. The Lady Comets walked off the field with an 11-1 win in five innings.
Winning pitcher Haley Naperkowski allowed a mere five hits in the win.
Sarah Macko and Mady Heller led Crestwood with two hits each.
On April 27, Crestwood defeated Berwick, 10-7.
The top hitters for the Lady Comets were Heller and Sydney Sobolewski who each drove in three runs. Kulp had two RBI.
Naperkowski was the winning pitcher.
On April 29, Tunkhannock came back to top Crestwood lost 10-9 in 8 innings. For the Lady Comets, Heller and Emily Traficante had two RBI a piece. Macko went 2 for 5, and Jordan Olenginski went 1 for 4 with 2 runs, and Traficante was 1 for 4 with 2RBI and a run.
Pitcher Kate Fetterman took the loss for Crestwood.
The Crestwood boys’ baseball team lost 7-3 to the unbeaten Warriors of Wyoming Area in a home game on April 25.
For the Comets, James Graves drove in two runs on a bases-loaded single and Colin Macko chipped in with an RBI single but it wasn’t enough to catch the Warriors.
Matt Mickowski took the loss for Crestwood.
Berwick edged Crestwood 3-2 in a game played April 29. The Bulldogs’ three unearned runs were the difference in the outcome.
For the Comets, James Graves was 2 for 3 with a double.

In volleyball, the Crestwood boys captured a 3-1 win over Berwick on April 28.
For the Comets Michael Williams had 41 assists, five kills, 15 digs and six service points.
Kyle Sanders chipped in with 14 kills, six service points and two blocks while Mendell Foreman finished with 15 kills, two blocks, and six service points.
Also for Crestwood, Brady Fetterman recorded nine kills, nine service points and eight digs. Hunter Rinehimer had 12 digs and eight service points in the win.
