Rotary Club Presents 2016Steam Train Excursion

Don’t miss our 2016 Steam Train Excursion to take place on July 23rd 2016. The train boards in Mountaintop 8:30 am and departs at 9:30 am. There will be parking and shuttle service from the Mountaintop Hose Co #1. The train will arrive in Historic Jim Thorpe at 11:30am. Enjoy a day of dining, shopping, taking in museums and much more. The train will board at 3:30pm and arrive back in Mountaintop approx. 5:45pm. The cost is $70 per person and can be purchased at the Triangle Pharmacy in Mountaintop or at can also visit was a sold out event in 2014. Get you tickets now! Farmers Market

The Rotary Club of Mountaintop is excited to bring back the SUNDAY Farmers Market for 2016. This is held every Sunday morning from 9am to 1pm in front of Crestwood High School on Rt 309 in Mountaintop. The season will kick off on July 3rd. The market will offer fresh fruits and vegetables, local honey, eggs, baked goods and much more. Please come out to support your local farms and businesses. Fairview Park Summer Program

The annual Summer Park Program at Fairview Memorial Park will run from Monday through Friday, August 12, 2016 from 10:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. Cost is $100 for the first child; and $75 for each thereafter. You can register with the Fairview Twp. Secretary at the municipal building Monday through Friday at any time during the summer camp program. There will be swimming, arts and crafts, sports, outdoor games, nature hikes, science; field trips and much more. Please join us this summer at Memorial Park!

Boys Basketball Camp

Applications for the 2016 Crestwood Comet Boy’s Basketball Camp under the direction of head coach Mark Atherton are now available. The camp will be held the week of June 20 to June 24 at the Crestwood High School. The morning session will be for boys entering 3rd through 5th grade. The afternoon session is for boys entering grades 6th through 9th. Cost for the week is $65.00 per camper. Camp is also open to students outside the Crestwood School District. Cornish Pasty Sale

St. Martin in the Fields, the little stone church on the corner of Nuangola and Church roads is having a Cornish Pasty Sale. The cost is $6.00 each and the deadline for ordering is June 30, and orders can be picked up at the Barry’s Floral on Friday, July 15th. GFWC Mountain Top To Meet

The GFWC Mountain Top will hold their July meeting at King’s Pizza beginning at 6pm. Any women interested in membership is welcome to attend. A short meeting will be followed by a social hour. GFWC Mountain Top is part of an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Bikers Invited

For this Fourth of July Parade in Mountain Top, all bikers in the area are invited to join in our “Bikes for Stripes” event leading the 10:00 a. m. parade. Please meet at the First Keystone Community Bank (by Dunkin Donuts) 8:30 to 9:30 am. Free admission, coffee, donuts & flag pins. Mt. Top Hose Co. Bazaar

Mt. Top Hose Co. No. 1 will hold its 43rd Annual Bazaar on July 15th, 16th and 17th. The event will feature good food, games, prizes and fun for the whole family. There will be entertainment nightly: Carl Alber & Sundance on Saturday at 4 p. m.; Fireman’s parade on Saturday at 5 p. m.; Pat Ward Magic Show on Saturday, at 7 p. m.; and a New Merchandise Auction on Sunday at 5 p. m. Bazaar opens Friday at 5:30 p. m.; Saturday at 5 p. m. and Sunday at 4 p. m. The Hose Co. is located just over the top of the Mountain at Route 309.
