Maryann P. Williams, 78 of the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, died July 23, 2016 at Smith Health Care Center, Mountain Top. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the

daughter of the late George & Mary (Koval) Antosh.

Maryann was a graduate of James

M. Coughlin High School, class of 1956, and was a homemaker all of her life. She and her husband James

D. Williams, celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on November 29, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Jerome and Jake Antosh.

Surviving in addition to her husband James are her daughters Sandra Olshefski, Harvey’s Lake, and Christine Palmiter and her husband Kevin, Mountaintop, grandchildren Colton James, Collin Christian, and Kaci Mary Rose Palmiter, sister Theresa McGuire, Detroit, MI, brothers Bernard Antosh, Plains, and Eugene Antosh, New York, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 9:30 am in St. Jude Parish, 420 South Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, with Father Joseph J. Evanko, Pastor, and Father Jeffrey D. Tudgay, Assistant Pastor, officiating. Those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to church. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dorrance. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Parish Building Fund, 420 South Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top, PA 18707.
