St. Paul’s Church Needs Medical Clinic Volunteers
ST. PAUL’S SUMMER CAMP-St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Mountain Top once again enjoyed another successful year with their themed based summer camp programs for children ages 3-8. The programs started five years ago when the church saw a need to fill a community gap for a camp based program for very young, non day care children. This year the youngest students learned all about the farm while older students, Kindergarten through 3rd, learned all about the jungle. The camp allows for lots of hands on learning, crafts, games, and fun, including some fun outside playtime. Aaron Charsky, Jason DeSousa & Johnny Hess made and played with crocodile stomach slime.
YOUNGER GROUP CAMPERS at St. Paul’s Summer Camp Program enjoyed learning all about the farm through hands on learning of crafts and games. Jenna Stone is shown as she helped Landon Klimek create his horse craft.

Medical Clinic-Your prayers would be appreciated for our Free Medical Clinic. The clinic will be closed for the summer months. Our two Physicians have resigned after many years of volunteering and our Nurse Practitioner can’t work without a Physician. We have seen a significant drop in the number of weekly clients, but an increased need for help with pharmaceutical expenses and pre-employment physicals.

This summer we will reach out to local physicians. We could certainly use your help to encourage your Physician to consider volunteering with us. The clinic staff will meet in the coming months to review our Mission statement and consider how best to meet the changing community needs. Please share any suggestions with me, Pat Hoovler, Joan Malkemes or Pastor

Bear Creek Camp-A reminder to all our Youth that you can still register for summer camp or one of the many Nature camps provided by Bear Creek throughout the summer. Call the office for information.
