Crestwood Soccer Results
ON THE MOVE-The Crestwood boys soccer players dropped a 2-0 decision to Dallas last week but beat Central Columbia and Tunkhannock to raise their to 3-1-1. Shown evading defenders in the Tunkhannock contest is Max Gariano.

The Crestwood boys soccer team defeated visiting Tunkhannock, 3-2, in a game played September 13.

The Comets were led in scoring by Kyle Gegaris who tallied two goals in the second half to seal the win.

Dylan Perrone opened the scoring for the Crestwood in the first half, assisted by Gegaris.

Crestwood outshot Tunkhannock, 18 to 12 in the win.

The Crestwood keeper Aidan Zabiegalski saved 9 for the winners.

Crestwood lost to Dallas, 2-0 on September 16.

Zabiegalski had a game high 17 saves for the Comets.


The girls soccer team suffered a heartbreaking loss in overtime to Dallas, 2-1, on September 15.

Lady Comet Allie Stover struck first in the 29th minute off an assist from Lexi Gaetano. Dallas knotted the score in the

second half. Alison Francis lifted the Lady Mountineers to victory in overtime.

Lady Comets Bella Termini and Melissa Herrera scored two goals apiece to lead the Lady Comets to a 5-1 win over the visiting Comets of Abington Heights on Saturday, September 17.

Sam Brumagin started the scoring off an assist at from Bella Termini 36:41. Teammate Herrera scored unassisted at 31:15.

Termini opened the second half scoring from Vanessa Atie at 28:28 and scored her second goal of the game off an assist from Herrera at 26:12. Herrera scored her second goal from Termini at 3:12.

Crestwood had 20 shots on goal compared to Abington‘s nine.
