GFWC Mountain Top will hold their meeting on November 7 at 6:30pm at the Christ United Methodist Church 175 South Main Road. Al Finn from the MT Top American Legion Post 781 will be guest speaker. The Rice Elementary PTA will host their monthly meeting on Tuesday November 8th at 6 p. m. in the school’s library. All parents, grandparents, and guardians are encouraged to attend the meeting to learn about the upcoming events at the school. Babysitting will be available. The Mountain Top Area Knights of Columbus will hold its monthly business meeting on November 8, 2016 at 7:30 p. m. at the St Jude school library. On Friday, November 11th the Mountain Top Social Club will be traveling to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton, NJ. to enjoy dinner and a Christmas Show. On Thursday, November 17th the group will be traveling to the Hollywood Casino. Seats are still available. Pick up time for both events will be 8 a. m. at St. Paul’s Church in Mountaintop. There will be a second pick up at St. Aloysius Church in Wilkes-Barre. Anyone 50 years of age or older are welcome to join. The next meeting will be held on Tues. The Mountain Top Garden Club will wrap up its year with a get-ready-for-winter social! On Wed., Nov. 9th at 6:30 at the Rice Twp. Municipal Building.
