The Crestwood High School Key Club and the Wascavage Family are collecting winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves and mittens for those in need. All sizes for children and adult are needed. Please drop off new and gently used winter items in the collection boxes located in the Crestwood H. S. lobby, the Mountaintop Eagle office at 85. S. Main Road, and the NEPA Boy Scouts of America office on Montage Mountain Road. Donations will be accepted now up to December 23. Thank you for your help in keeping someone warm this winter. Items will be taken to the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen clothes room and shelter locations throughout Northeastern and Central PA. The CHS Girls Soccer Booster Club is sponsoring a Movie Night on Nov. 18th at Movies 14 W-B. Movie title is “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” by JK Rowling. Games start at 9:45 and there will be trivia and raffles. Movie show time is at 10:30. Cost is 25$ for each Commemorative Lanyard. The Lanyard is your ticket into a private theater sealed to only our Lanyard holders. It entitles you to a small soda and popcorn with free refills. Emmanuel United Church of Christ will hold its family style Pork Dinner on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 3 to 7 p. m. The meal includes roast pork, homemade sauerkraut, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, homemade applesauce, bread, beverage, and dessert. Take Outs are available. The White Haven Area Community Library will host their 6th annual Holiday Quilts & Crafts Show on Saturday, December 3 from 10 am to 3 pm.
