Statewide Trump won 56 counties, most in more suburban and rural areas. Clinton won in the 11 other counties located in more populated counties of Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia, and also Lehigh, Monroe, Lackawanna, Dauphin, Centre, and Allegheny counties.

Toomey and McGinty.

The race for Pennsylvania Senator was another hotly advertised contest. Incumbent Republican Pat Toomey fended off Democrat Katie McGinty with 5,365 votes in Mountaintop to the challenger’s 3,418, with a total of 8733. Toomey had 61.43% of the vote to McGinty’s 39.13%, slightly different percentages than the presidential tally.
