Winter Coat Drive

The Crestwood High School Key Club and the Wascavage Family are collecting winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves and mittens for those in need. All sizes for children and adult are needed. Please drop off new and gently used winter items in the collection boxes located in the Crestwood H. S. lobby, the Mountaintop Eagle office at 85. S. Main Road, and the NEPA Boy Scouts of America office on Montage Mountain Road. Donations will be accepted now up to December 23. TItems will be taken to the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen clothes room and shelter locations throughout Northeastern and Central PA. Remove Basketball Hoops

Fairview Township residents are reminded to remove all basketball hoops from the roadways now that winter is here. Also a reminder that vehicles are not allowed to be parked on the streets during a snow event, and will be towed if they are in the way of the snow plows during removal.

Holiday Quilts & Crafts Show

The White Haven Area Community Library will host their 6th annual Holiday Quilts & Crafts Show on Saturday, December 3 from 10 am to 3 pm. The event will be spread over two venues within walking distance: the historic DeWitt Homestead, a restored Victorian home circa 1875 located at 231 Wilkes-Barre Street, and the White Haven Area Community Library, located in the historic railroad Engine House at 99 Towanda Street in White Haven. Breakfast With Santa

The eighth grade students at St. Jude School are sponsoring a Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 3 from 9 a. m. until noon in the school cafeteria. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, hash browns, juice, cocoa, coffee, Danish, and desserts. Tickets are $10 that includes a personalized Christmas ornament. There will also be free children’s crafts, holiday music, and a basket raffle. Santa will be available for photos. Bring your camera or cell phone. Donations will be accepted. Holiday Toy Bingo

A Holiday Toy Bingo with proceeds to benefit the Crestwood Middle School will be held at the Kirby Library in Mountain Top on Sunday, December 4th at the Crestwood High School Cafeteria, 281 S. Mountain Blvd. Doors open at 12 noon. Bingo starts at 1 p. m. Tickets are $20 or $23 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the library at 35 Kirby Avenue, Mountain Top or by calling the library at 570-474-9313.

All You Can Eat Breakfast

An All You Can Eat Breakfast sponsored by Marine Corps League, is scheduled December 4 from 8:00 am to 12: 30 pm at 411 Allegheny St. in White Haven. The cost of the breakfast is $ 8. The oublic is invtied. For more information call (570) 262-2894.

GFWC Mountain Top Meeting

GFWC Mountain Top will hold their December 5th at 6:30pm at the Christ United Methodist Church 175 South Main Road. This month we will be making a candy cane wreath and having an ornament exchange. Middle School PTA Meeting

The next Crestwood Middle School PTA meeting will be held in the Middle School Library on December 7, 2016! If school is dismissed early or cancelled the meeting will not be held.

Boys Baseball Booster Club

Crestwood Baseball Booster Club will hold its next meeting on December 7, 2016 at 6pm in the lower level of Kings Pizza. Please join the meeting to organize the events for the 2017 season.

Welcome Club Social

The Mountain Top Welcome Club will be hosting its first ever Social! Join us for a free cocktail and appetizer! Door Prizes and Give-A-Ways! The Social will be held Dec 7th from 6pm to 8pm located at Cavanaugh’s Grille 163 N Main St We would love to see new and experienced members of the Mountain Top community who are interested in learning more about our club.
