The Crestwood High School Key Club and the Wascavage Family are collecting winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves and mittens for those in need. All sizes for children and adult are needed. Please drop off new and gently used winter items in the collection boxes located in the Crestwood H. S. lobby, the Mountaintop Eagle office at 85. S. Main Road, and the NEPA Boy Scouts of America office on Montage Mountain Road. Donations will be accepted now up to December 23. Items will be taken to the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen clothes room and shelter locations throughout Northeastern and Central PA. Residents are reminded to remove all basketball hoops from the roadways now that winter is here. Also a reminder that vehicles are not allowed to be parked on the streets during a snow event, and will be towed if they are in the way of the snow plows during removal.

The first annual Cookie Walk at St. Jude Parish will be held on Saturday, December 17th from 10:00 a. m. until 2:00 p. m in the cafeteria of St. Jude School. The cost is $8 for a medium container. There will be many different varieties of homemade cookies baked by parishioners and friends of St. Jude Church and thousands of cookies to be sold.
Bring your unwrapped presents to the Crestwood High School Cafeteria Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 3pm-7pm. Let the Crestwood Class of 2017 elves do the wrapping for you. Just drop off or wait. No need to schedule. Wrapping is free. Donations are gladly accepted and greatly appreciated. All donations will go to the Class of 2017 Senior lock-in.
