St. Jude New Year’s Mass Schedule for the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God is as follows: Saturday, December 31st -4 p. m. Mass (Vigil) and Sunday, January 1st at 7:30 a. m., 9 a. m., 10:30 a. m. and Noon.
The Parish Office will be closed on December 30 through January 2. The office will reopen January 3 at 9 a. m.
Religious education classes will not be held the weekend of January 1/2. Classes will resume January 8/9.
A Pilgrimage to Washington, D. C. will be led by Fr. Jeff Tudgay for high school students and young adults. On Thursday, January 26, 2017, the group will leave St. Jude’s at 1 p. m. for the Life is Very Good Rally and Evening Prayer. On Friday, January 27, 2017, they will attend the Youth Rally and Mass for Life -March for Life . On Saturday, January 28, there will be sightseeing in Washington DC and tour and Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. They return to St. Jude’s around 10 PM. Registration and $50 non-refundable deposit is DUE NOW! The

Young adults ages 18 to 30 years old are invited to our annual Christmas gathering on Tuesday, January 3 at 7 p. m. at King’s Restaurant in Mountain Top. The evening begins with dinner at 7:00 p. m. All St. Jude Church contributions for 2016 must be received or postmarked by December 31, 2016, in order for tax deductible contributions to show on your 2016 statement. Your continued use of our envelope system or Online Giving are the only methods we have to correctly itemize your gifts. As always, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Choir rehearsals will resume on Wednesday, January 11in the Church. New members are always welcome! If you are thinking about joining the adult choir or just have any questions, please contact Joe Dubinski, 570-474-6315, ext. 247 or stop and talk to him after one of the weekend Masses.
The following items are needed for the Mountain Top Food Bank: boxed soup mix instead of Ramon noodles, noodles, cream soups, baked beans, jelly, peanut butter, canned fruit, tuna, mayonnaise, pudding, jello, sugar, hot chocolate, and coffee.
Weekday Masses at St. Jude’s are Monday through Friday at 7 a. m. and Wednesday at 12:10 p. m. Weekday Masses at St. Mary’s are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 8 a. m. Saturday Vigil Masses are 4 p. m. at St. Jude’s and 5:30 p. m. at St. Mary’s. Sunday Masses are 7:30 a. m., 9 a. m., 10:30 a. m. and noon at St. Jude’s and 9 a. m. at St. Mary’s.
