Pearl Gertrude (Naugle) Krapf, Mountain Top, died Jan. 21, 2017, at her home.

She was the beloved wife of Frederick Earl Krapf, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Kitchen) Naugle; loving mother of Earl Krapf, Elizabeth (Krapf) Seeley, Alfred Krapf, Mark Krapf, Mildred (Krapf) Walat, and Eric John Krapf; also sister of Daniel Nagle, Carol Williams (Naugle), Ronald Naugle, and the late Harold Nagle.

Pearl was a resident of Mountain Top for over 33 years. She attended Myers High School. She was a seamstress all her life, enjoyed quilting, was an avid embroiderer, loved roller-skating, bowling, square dancing and teaching her grandchildren/great-grandchildren many arts and crafts and crochet. She loved playing the piano and she surrounded herself with handmade crafts to celebrate her pride for her husband’s 30 year Marine Corps career.

She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always a social butterfly known by many. Pearl Krapf had a love of all arts.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association .

A funeral service will be held at 6 p. m. Wednesday at McCune Funeral Home, Mountain Top. All relatives and friends are invited to call 4 p. m. to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Lake View Cemetery, Harveys Lake, at the convenience of the family.
