Obstetrician gynecologist Scott Muir, DO, Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG) Obstetrics and Gynecology is now offering obstetric and gynecology services to patients at Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Health Center at Mountain Top, 237 S. Mountain Blvd. (Weis Shopping Plaza), Mountain Top.
Muir, a well-known practitioner in the Hazleton area for 23 years, completed his medical training at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Kansas City, Mo., and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa.
An expert in his field, Muir offers comprehensive care management services in gynecologic care, normal and high-risk obstetrics, well-woman visits, family planning and contraception, sexual health, menopause, osteoporosis, disruptive menstrual bleeding patterns, pelvic organ prolapse (dropped bladder and uterus) and urinary incontinence. He also provides cosmetic laser services for skin rejuvenation, hair removal and varicose vein reduction.
