The Marian Sutherland Kirby Library is once again selling Leda’s Home Made Chocolate Easter Eggs. The eggs are $1.25 each and are available in milk and dark chocolate. Stairville United Methodist Church, 1790 Stairville Road, Wapwallopen will hold a Fresh Haddock Dinner on Friday, March 24th. Cost is $10 per person. Takeouts begin at 3pm, Dinner begins at 4pm. Mountaintop Area Little League is offering an umpires clinic (Baseball & Softball) on Saturday, March 25th, 8:30 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. at Macko’s Indoor Sports Facility. Looking for umpires at all levels of play. Umpires are paid up to $35 per game, based on age & experience. Multiple games available on weekends. Anyone interested in learning how to umpire, or umpires with experience are encouraged to attend. The Blue Ridge Ladies Tuesday Night Golf League will hold their organizational meeting on Saturday March 25 from 11 a. m. to 12 noon at the Blue Ridge Clubhouse. The league welcomes women of all ages, who have basic golf skills. The league is not an instructional league, but women who want to learn golf can take lessons from the Blue Ridge Pro. Ice Breaker dates are April 4 and April 11 with league play beginning Tuesday April 18 from 3 to 5 p. m. to August 29, 2017. Members will meet up at the bag drop and play with other members as they arrive.
