Under the state licensing, they will have to have 30 seats in order to offer the beer sales, with the remainder of the floor space being dedicated to shelving and display units.
Solicitor Donald Karpowich agreed that the alterations will require permits and he has consulted with Zoning Officer Alan Snelson on the permitting process. “We’ll let them define the use and then we’ll follow the zoning ordinance,” Karpowich added. The construction will not alter the current building footprint. Mr. Patel stated that the process will take about 4 to 6 months, with the construction phase beginning in April.
Plans are underway for the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. Scheduled for Saturday, April 8th at 2 pm at the municipal building, the annual event is open to children up to 12 years of age. Registration is required and sign-up sheets are available at Andy’s, KVal and at the municipal office.
