People have seen programs on TV and in print about UFOs, Big Foot, and cryptid encounters along with other abnormal happenings that have occurred in Pennsylvania. Now they can come to the White Haven Area Community Library on May 20 and listen to one of the foremost authorities on “Strange Encounters of PA.”
Stan Gordon, a leading researcher on mysterious events in Pennsylvania has been involved with UFO and Bigfoot investigations for 58 years. Gordon was the lead investigator in the 1965 UFO crash near Kecksburg, PA. During his presentation on May 20, he will be discussing many strange encounters including the latest updates on more recent anomalies that have occurred since 2016.
Gordon is the producer of the award winning documentary, “Kecksburg: The Untold Story” and has also authored three books, Silent Invasion: The Pennsylvania UFO-BigFoot Casebook , Really Mysterious Pennsylvania and his latest book, Astonishing Encounters: Pennsylvania’s Unknown Creatures. His books and DVDs will be offered for signing and sale at the presentation. Gordon has also been a guest on TV’s Discovery Channel, the History Channel, the SyFy Channel, Destination America and Unsolved Mysteries.
The White Haven Area Community Library will be hosting two presentations on May 20 at the library, located at 121 Towanda Street, White Haven. The first show will be at 4:30 p. m. and the second will be at 7 p. m. Advance ticket sales are $15 and can be purchased at the library. Seating is limited and no tickets will be sold at the door.
