Lindsay Denion, Rachel Maczuga, and Julia Stopper, all residents of Mountain Top and students at King’s College, were recently inducted into Delta Epsilon Sigma national Catholic college honor society.
Stopper is a junior English and secondary education major and a member of Sigma Tau Delta, Cantores Christi Regis choir, and the Peer Campus Ministry Advisory Council. She is a consistent Dean’s List student and recipient of the Irish American Scholars scholarship which allowed her to study abroad at Queen’s University in Belfast, N. Ireland, last semester. She is the daughter of Rachel and John Stopper.
Denion is a junior in the Physician Assistant program.
Maczuga is a junior human resources management major.
The King’s chapter of Delta Epsilon Sigma was established in 1964. Candidates for membership must have a record of “outstanding” academic accomplishment and have completed at least 50 percent of their course work for a bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade point average of 3.6.
