ST. JUDE SCHOOL CELEBRATES MAY CROWNING-The eighth grade students continued the beautiful tradition of May Crowning at St. Jude School with the annual ceremony in honor of Mary, the Blessed Mother. This year, Rachel Black had the honor of crowning a statue of Mary with a floral crown. The remaining eighth grade girls served as members of the Queen’s Court. Each girl carried a single rose to present to Mary. The boys formed a candle-lit honor guard for the procession. Kindergarten through seventh grade students were also present for the celebration of prayer and song, including “Hail, Holy Queen Enthroned Above”, “Bring Flowers of the Rarest”, and “Immaculate Mary”.
