Betty Jo Burry Mantush, 64, White Haven, rode her motorcycle through the golden gates on July 28, 2017, where she was reunited with her beloved husband, Patrick Leo Mantush, and parents, Elsie Honor Hurry and Joseph J. Burry.
Being a retired nurse of more than 20 years, she enjoyed relaxing in nature, long rides on her Can-Am Spyder and spending time with friends and family.
She also found much joy in volunteering with the American Red Cross and helping Geisinger with various fundraisers.
She was a very loving woman and took care of those in need as much as she could. She was also very strong and brave and fought long and hard with her health. She was a true inspiration and was loved and will be missed by many. But she will always be in our hearts.
Survivors include her children, Lori Mantush Zaldonis and husband, Mark Zaldonis, and Cathy Manutsh and husband, Sean Oliver; sister, Sandra Hurry Evans; grandchildren, Seanna, Elsie, Savannah, Jordan, Hannah and Mark; and great-grandson, Brantley.
Funeral services were held from Yeosock Funeral Home, Plains Township. Rev. Joseph Kearney officiated.
