The Black Bear Film Festival gratefully acknowledges the support of The Greater Pike Community Foundation for a $4,000 Richard L. Snyder Grant. The Foundation bestowed the grant to honor Black Bear Film Festival’s service to the community in expanding its cultural and economic impact throughout Milford and Pike County.
Black Bear Film Festival’s mission is to support and generate interest in innovative independent films with The BLACK BEAR FILM festival each year, as well as programs in Film Education, Film History and to make a significant contribution to the economic development of Pike County.
The Greater Pike Community Foundation (GPCF) was created to enable generous individuals, families and local businesses to maximize their charitable support through organized, targeted long-term community philanthropy.
“The Foundation provides a permanent and personal way to give back to the region,” stated Black Bear Film Festival Executive Director, Bob Keiber.
This year’s Black Bear Film Festival will be on October 20, 21, and 22, as it continues to grow in its programs and offerings to the community thanks to the support of The Greater Pike Community Foundation, Richard L. Snyder Fund.
