Roger Allen Siegel, 57, Stafford County, died October 18, 2017 surrounded by his family and friends.
Mr. Siegel was a U. S. Army veteran and retired after 25 years of service from the Fairfax County Police Department. He was past president of the Fairfax County Police Association and a co-founder of the Fairfax County Police Benevolent Fund. Mr. Siegel was the recipient of the Fairfax County Don Smith EAC Award.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy E. Siegel; son Bryan A. Siegel (Melissa) and their sons Devin and Brayden; daughter-in-law Amy A. Siegel and her daughter, Genevieve; parents Clarence and Marlene Siegel of Mountain Top; sisters Susan A. Rodeheaver and Patricia M. Siegel; two nephews Joshua and Cole; and niece Olivia. He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas A. Siegel.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p. m. on Tuesday, October 24 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday, October 25 at Spotswood Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 1 p. m. at Quantico National Cemetery.
