Take-N-Bake Pizza Sale-In conjunction with the flea market, we have traditional held a pizza sale. Pick-up will be Friday November 3rd between 7-8 p. m. and Saturday, November 4th from 8 a. m.-1 p. m. Call the church office or place your order on the sheets in the narthex. Your choice of plain, pepperoni, tomato basil, and mushroom.
Stromboli Sale-Support our youth headed to Houston, Texas for the ELCA Youth Gathering. The youth are currently selling Heat and Eat 9 in. personal stromboli (no onions or peppers). Sold for $7, delivery date will be Friday, November 3rd. Place your order through one of youth, or on a sheet in the narthex or call the church office.
St. Paul’s is sponsoring a Flea Market/Pizza Sale on Saturday, November 4th. If you would like to reserve a table for the Flea Market, please contact Marty Kellow (570-474-5387).
Cinderella Cheesecakes-The Cinderella Company has been in business for over 25 years offering cheesecakes, 11 inches round, weighing 4 lbs. in various flavors including: Plain, Mango, Washington Cherry, Pineapple, Pumpkin, Almond Amaretta, Southern Pecan and White Chocolate Peanut Butter. Each cheesecake costs $21; the Sugar Free and Sample Cheesecake cost $25.Orders must be placed by November 10th. Delivery is scheduled for Friday, November 17th, just in time for Thanksgiving.
2018 ELCA Youth Gathering-Registration opened for the upcoming 2018 National Youth Gathering. If you are interested in attending, please contact Pastor and fill out the registration forms and hand it in ASAP, along with $100 deposit. Various fundraisers will be held throughout the year to help defray the cost.
Bible Study continues every Thursday afternoon at 1 p. m. The conversations are lively and engaging. The group began study on the Book of Acts. Consider joining us some Thursday!
Board Game Day-Looking to have some fun? Every third Wednesday, at 1:00 pm. at the church will be board game day. Please bring your favorite game and a snack to share. Come on out and have some fun.
Yarn Spinners will continue to work on the prayer shawls and baptismal blankets for Pastor. If any of you are talented in crocheting or knitting, or would like to learn, they cordially invite you to join them. Lessons will be given by Lois. If you can’t make their meetings, please call Lois Burge at 474-5502, and volunteer your talents by making the items at your own pace at home. All would be most appreciative.
Please remember that the first Sunday of each month has been declared “Food Bank Day” and we ask that members remember those less fortunate by bringing nonperishable food items in order to keep up with the demand for food.
Regularly scheduled weekly meetings-Stress and Anxiety Management meetings are every 2nd and last Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm; NA meetings are every Thursday at 6 pm; AA meetings are held every Wednesday and Friday at 7pm and Sundays at 7pm, and Weight Watchers every Wednesday at 6:15pm.
