The Fairview Township Board of Supervisors held a public hearing Nov. 7, to discuss a conditional use request, allowing resident and supervisor, Robert Orloski, to run a commercial meat-smoking operation from his property at 103 Gracedale Avenue.
The board also addressed one resident’s questions about the process of dealing with permit violations, or lack of obtaining permits for construction. Another resident asked about future renovations at Memorial Park and was informed about those plans.
Orloski’s motion passed, with the stipulation that he receives approval from the Department of Agriculture. He explained that he’s used a smoker on his property for years to
