St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Worship Services are at 8:30 and 11:00 a. m. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a. m.

Communion will be offered November 19th.

Feed A Friend-It is time once again for Feed-A-Friend to seek volunteers to help with the sorting, packing and handing out of Thanksgiving baskets to needy area residents. This year we are seeking volunteers of all ages to help sort food on Saturday, November 18th from 10 am-1 pm and distribution is Tuesday, November 21st 9 am-1 pm to help carry turkeys and bags to cars. St. Paul’s Hoagie Gang-Sign up for DELICIOUS hoagies! Watch for the sign-up sheet on the narthex bulletin board. All orders must be in by the previous Sunday. The costs of the hoagies are $4.00 each. The sign-up sheet is on the narthex bulletin board. All monies earned go to benefit the church.

The first Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, December 3rd immediately following the first service. The 2018 Budget will be presented and the congregation will elect Church Council Members. Plan now to attend! Brunch to follow!

Bible Study continues every Thursday afternoon at 1 p. m. The conversations are lively and engaging. The group began study on the Book of Acts. Consider joining us some Thursday!

Board Game Day-Looking to have some fun? Every third Wednesday, at 1:00 pm. at the church will be board game day. Please bring your favorite game and a snack to share. Come on out and have some fun.

Yarn Spinners will continue to work on the prayer shawls and baptismal blankets for Pastor. If any of you are talented in crocheting or knitting, or would like to learn, they cordially invite you to join them. Lessons will be given by Lois. If you can’t make their meetings, please call Lois Burge at 474-5502, and volunteer your talents by making the items at your own pace at home. All would be most appreciative.

Please remember that the first Sunday of each month has been declared “Food Bank Day” and we ask that members remember those less fortunate by bringing nonperishable food items in order to keep up with the demand for food.

Regularly scheduled weekly meetings-Stress and Anxiety Management meetings are every 2nd and last Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm; NA meetings are every Thursday at 6 pm; AA meetings are held every Wednesday and Friday at 7pm and Sundays at 7pm, and Weight Watchers every Wednesday at 6:15pm.

Sick or in the hospital? Would you like a visit from pastor? If you are in the hospital, please let us know. We care about you, and we would like to pray for you. If you would like Pastor to make a visit for any particular reason, please contact Pastor directly or leave a message with the church secretary and Pastor will contact you to schedule a time.
