Share the wonder of Advent with your family and friends by welcoming them to worship with us beginning Sunday, December 3. Help others truly prepare for the coming of Christ by worshipping during the season of Advent and hearing the message of salvation born in a lowly stable. The season of Advent is intended to serve as a time of preparation. Much of our time is spent in preparation for remembering his first coming to earth. We decorate, bake, shop and get caught up in the excitement of Christmas. But it is also a time for anticipating his second coming. Through our faith in Jesus and his promise to come again we pray, worship and do God’s work here on earth, in preparation for his return.
The key is to look forward as well as back and to prepare for his second coming as we celebrate his first coming. How will you prepare for Christ’s coming? Just remembering what was, or anticipating what will be? Come, join in the preparations -not just to remember the past, but to anticipate the future and all that has been promised to us. And bring a friend with you to share in this wonderful event. “In my father’s house are many rooms… I am going there to prepare a place for you.” (Matthew 14:2)
Sunday mornings at 9:30 am is Sunday School for ages 3 through 6th grade. We have a great program based on our Hands On Bibles. We’ll have fun making crafts, playing games, and solving puzzles which help us understand the stories in our Hands On Bibles.
Teen Talk is for anyone in 7th grade and above. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am to talk about God and Jesus, how our lives are influenced by them and how we can be an influence to others around us. Come to Teen Talk and find other teens who want to make their faith stronger and be better at dealing with ideas and things that pull us away from being Christians.
Sunday worship service is at 10:30 am and is led by Pastor Lou Aita. We welcome visitors and friends to join us for worship.
