County 4-H Members, Leaders Honored At Achievement Day
4-H LEADERS RECOGNIZED-Area 4-H leaders were receognized for years of service recently at a gathering at King’s Pizza in Mountaintop. Leaders recognized, from left, are: Colleen Weis, Rebecca Kosierowski, Donna Fine, Dianne Adamitz, Barbara Rinker, Lauren Swicklick, Gay Maron, Hobbie 4-H; Gail Verbyla, Mary Jo Gibson, Hobbie 4-H; Stacey Mayne Brown, Trip Brown, Heather Henry, Hobbie 4-H; Bernadette Tresniowski, Tall in the Saddle; and Sandra George, Millennium 4-H.

Over 40 people gathered at King’s Pizza in Mountain Top, Sunday, November 19 to celebrate and recognize 4-H member achievements and years of service for 4-H leaders.

Award and recipients include:

Members receiving the club spirit award for club enthusiasm and participation in programs and events were Pyper Lewis and Rylie Lewis from Millennium 4-H and Anya Atherton from Yellow Rose 4-H Club.

Last year in 4-H awards were presented to Hanna Weiss from Blazing Spirits and Carey-Anne Keiper from Yellow Rose 4-H Club.

Leaders being recognized for their years of service were First Year Leaders-Florence Brown and Debra Mekeel from Back Mountain Harvest 4-H. Two years of service to Trip Brown, Stacie Mayne Brown and Rebecca Kosierowski all from Back Mountain Harvest 4-H. Three years of service to Amanda Swanson from Blazing Spirits 4-H, Lindsay Jayne from Bridles and Grooms, Amanda Jenkins from Hobbie 4-H. Five years of service to Shelly Lawton and Valerie McCreary from Hobbie 4-H and Barbara Rinker from Soaring Saddles. Six years of service to Lauren Swicklik from Soaring Saddles and Colleen Weiss from Blazing Spirits. Eight years of service to Donna Fine with Showin’ Blue, Heidi Osburn with Bridles and Grooms, and Gay Maron with Hobbie 4-H. Nine years of service to Susan Lee with Yellow Rose. Twenty one years of service to Mary Jo Gibson and Heather Henry from Hobbie 4-H. Twenty two years of service to Sandra George from Millennium 4-H and Bernadette Trzesniowski with Tall in the Saddle. Twenty three year of service to Dianne Adamitz with Showin’ Blue and Thirty three years of service to Gail Verbyla with Yellow Rose 4-H.
