WELCOME! We warmly welcome all visitors! Contact the parish office if you would like to become a member of our parish. The weekend Mass schedule is Saturday at 5:30 p. m. and Sunday at 9 a. m.

Food Collection: St. Mary’s is continuing to collect non-perishable food items for our local families in need. Can goods (veggies, soup, fruit), peanut butter & jelly, Mac and cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, crackers, granola, cereal, etc. Thank you!

Religious Education K-6: Students are off until January 7, 2018. Questions: Mrs. Heller 570-379-2647.

Confirmation Students: Sunday classes are 9:30-10:45 a. m. and Monday classes are 6:30-7:40 p. m. Please attend on your scheduled day. It is permissible to attend on the alternate day if you are sick or have other unexpected conflicts.

Seventh Grade Class Schedule: The Seventh Grade Retreat will be held January 27, 2018.

Eighth Grade Class Schedule: January 7/8 and 21/22, 2018.

Winter Weather Advisory: For everyone’s safety, classes will be cancelled if we have severe weather conditions. Parents should use their judgment on attendance based upon their local road conditions in the event classes are not cancelled.

Daily Mass at Saint Mary’s will be cancelled if Crestwood SD delays or cancels classes.

Altar Servers Needed: An Altar Server Class is planned in the near future. All youth who have received their First Communion are invited to serve at the Table of the Lord. Families decide the Saturday or Sunday schedule. Please call the parish office to sign up for the class.

Annual Nite at the Races is planned Saturday, March 3, 2018. Watch the bulletin for upcoming information and meeting times.

The Christmas Decorations will be taken Sunday, January 7 beginning outside at 10 a. m., and move inside about 11 a. m., (after religious education classes). Help is needed.

Confirmation students will receive

service credit. Coffee, juice, and pastries will be available in the social hall.

Pastoral Care: If any parishioner or loved one is hospitalized or homebound and he/she would like a pastoral visit from our clergy, please notify us at 570-868-5855. If a parishioner needs anointing of the sick call the parish office -if after hours call 570-474-6315 and follow the prompts for emergency. Please understand putting a name on the sick list in Church is for prayers; not visits or emergencies.

Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass: His Excellency, the Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D. D., J. C. L., Bishop of Scranton, and the Office for Parish Life wish to invite couples celebrating their 25th or 50th wedding anniversary in 2018, to a diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, June 10. The event includes a 2:30 PM mass at St. Peter’s Cathedral followed by a reception. Requests for an invitation, with a mailing address, should be made through your parish office before March 12.

Youth Group will meet for a Christmas Party on Sunday, January 7, from 5-8 p. m. in the dining room. Dinner, games, and an optional $10 gift exchange. Parents welcome at all meetings.
