Adult Choir Rehearsals To Resume January 10At St. Jude Church

St. Jude’s Catholic Church services are Saturday: 4 p. m. and Sunday: 8:30 a. m. and 11 a. m.

Parish office hours are Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a. m.-3 p. m.; Friday and Saturday: closed and Sunday: 9:30 a. m.-12:30 p. m.

Religious Education Classes will resume on January 7/8.

Adult choir rehearsals will resume after Christmas beginning on Wednesday, January 10 in the church. New members are always welcome. Contact Joe Dubinski at 570-474-6315, ext. 247 with any questions.

The youth of the church will be attending the “Life is Very Good” Rally on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at George Mason University in Virginia. On Friday, the 19th, the group will attend Mass and Rally again at George Mason and then to Washington, D. C. to stand up for life. On Saturday, the 20th, a tour of the museums will be held with Fr. Jeff Tudgay in addition to a tour of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and celebrate Mass in one of the cathedrals. The group will return Saturday evening. The Pro-Life Annual Baby Bottle Collection will begin the weekend of January 6/7. Please take a baby bottle as you leave the church and fill it with your loose change. Then return the baby bottle on the weekends of January 13/14 and January 20/21. The money collected will go to support our local Pennsylvanians for Human Life efforts. Your generosity will help support the lives of the unborn.

The following food items are needed for the Mt. Top Food Bank: boxed soup mix, noodles, cream soups, baked beans, jelly, peanut butter, canned fruit, tuna, mayo, pudding, Jello, sugar, hot chocolate and coffee.
