St. Martin’s auxiliary usually meets on the fourth Sunday of the month after the social hour. The membership is open to all members and friends of the church. This is a very active group that works extremely hard to help the church financially and spiritually. They bake our famous Welsh Cookies 4 to 5 times a year and were responsible for the food at our Annual Kite Festivals (their bar-b-que got rave reviews). The group also holds a Flea Market and Bake Sale every June, a Ham and Cabbage Dinner in March, and a Meatloaf Dinner in May. In addition to the dinners, they sold pasties, pot pies and soup. The auxiliary is a vital part of St. Martin in the Fields Church and welcomes new members with open arms and an apron.
St. Martin in the Fields, located at 3085 Church Road in Mountain Top, is and inclusive and modern Episcopal church that incorporates into its liturgy the best of both Catholic and Protestant traditions while remaining open to new directions from the Holy spirit. Everyone, regardless of their faith or background, is welcome to celebrate Holy Eucharist at 10 a. m, Sundays.
