Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated January 28 through February 2, 2018. This year’s theme, Saint Jude School: Where Your Future Has “Paw-sibilities”, supports the animal-themed book fair that will be open to all participants during the Open House.
In celebration of this Catholic Schools Week, the following activities are scheduled:
Sunday, Jan. 28-Family Day— Opening Mass at 11:00, St. Jude Church, all students are asked to wear their school uniforms. Open House from 12 :30-2:30
BOOK FAIR—“Paws” to Read —12:30-2:30
Monday, Jan. 29-Student Day Spirit Day—Gym games, relay races
Tuesday, Jan. 30-Community day-K-9 Presentation by Warden David P. Allen: K-9 Handler Special Investigation Division. Pre–Grades 3 9 a. m.
Gr. 4-8 10 a. m. Movie & Popcorn in the afternoon.
Wednesday, Jan. 31 -Volunteer Day-Luncheon for volunteers at 12:30 followed by school Mass at 1:50. Book Fair open 5-6 p. m. in Library. Talent Show 6-8 pm in Gym sponsored by PJAS.
Thursday, Feb. 1 -Service Day -Mrs. Flannery with the Seeing Eye Association. Presentation 1-1:30 Pre-k to 3,1:30-2 Grades 4-8. Students dress down in animal hats, headbands, t-shirts. Monetary donations will going to the Seeing Eye Association.
Friday, Feb. 2-Faculty Appreciation Day-Faculty and staff honored to a Brunch at 9:30 provided by PTG. “Soup-er Bowl”. Students dress down in their favorite Football team jerseys or colors. Donations of SOUP collected for Mt. Top Food Pantry. Dismissal at 11:45 a. m.
