Wyoming Seminary To Present ‘Mr. Popper’s Penguins’ Feb. 13

“Mr. Popper’s Penguins” is set to present a magical piece of children’s theater on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018 at 6:00 p. m. at the Kirby Center for Creative Arts.

Painter and decorator by day, Mr. Popper spends his time dreaming of Antarctic adventures. He is astounded when one day a packing crate arrives on his doorstep and a penguin waddles out! With original songs and performing penguin puppets, this delightful, action-packed musical adaptation of Richard and Florence Atwater’s popular book (also made into a Hollywood film starring Jim Carrey) is the perfect family treat!

Wyoming Seminary would like to thank its Sem Presents! sponsors The Black Horse Foundation, Mountain Productions, Lewith & Freeman Real Estate, and Petroleum Service Company. “Art and cultural enrichment are vital to any community,” said Ricky Rose, CEO of Mountain Productions. “We are proud to sponsor Wyoming Seminary’s Sem Presents! Performing Arts Series.”

Tickets are $10.00 for children and $15.00 for adults.
