St. Jude Fish Fry Set February 25

St. Jude’s Catholic Church services are Saturday: 4 p. m. and Sunday: 8:30 a. m. and 11 a. m. Parish office hours are Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a. m.-3 p. m.; Friday and Saturday: closed and Sunday: 9:30 a. m.-12:30 p. m.

St. Jude Fish Fry will be held February 23 from 4 to 8 p. m. Tickets can be purchased after Masses on 2/17 and 2/18 or at the Parish Office. Walk-ins will be taken on a limited basis. Take out or sit down options available. Menu features fish (baked or fried), coleslaw, fries and a drink. Tickets: $10 for adult dinner, $5 for child dinner (mac and cheese).

Young Adult Bible Study will be held Thursday, February 22 at 7 p. m. in the church.

Wedding Anniversary Mass-The Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D. D., J. C. L., Bishop of Scranton, and the Office of Parish Life invite couples celebrating their 25th or 50th anniversary in 2018 to a diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass on June 10, 2018. The event includes a 2:30 p. m. Mass at St. Peter’s Cathedral followed by a reception. Requests for an invitation, with a mailing address, should be called into the Parish Office, 570-474-6315, no later than March 12, 2018.

Save the date: Calling all High Rollers and Queen of Hearts-Casino Night will be held April 7, 2018 at 6 p. m. in St. Jude School cafeteria. The evening will feature casino games, basket raffle, prizes, silent auction, open bar, and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Casino Night supports St. Jude School Artist in Residency Program.
