Presbyterian Youth, Sunday School To Participate In Rock-A-Thon

Rev. James Shanley, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Mountain Top, invites you to join in worship Sunday, March 11th as we celebrate the fourth Sunday in Lent. Sunday School begins at 9:30 with the adult class meeting in the Sanctuary and all ages of children meeting in Fellowship Hall for Praise time and class assignments. The Worship Service begins at 11:00a.m. Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead!!

Pastor Shanley will lead Bible Study on Wednesday, March 14th in Sunday School room B. The study will continue the Lenten journey to Resurrection Sunday. All adults seeking to go deeper into the Word of God are invited. (March 7th will be at the First Welsh Presbyterian Church)

The Presbyterian Women’s winter Chili Sale is scheduled for Wednesday, March 7th, weather permitting, with pickup from 3 til 6pm. If you cannot make it then, the orders will be refrigerated. If snow, the chili will be made March 14th.

Please donate your food items weekly to be given to the Mountain Top food bank. Bins are located at the rear of the Sanctuary. The need is great for packaged items; mayonnaise, coffee and sugar, red beets, mixed vegetables and peas are also needed.

2018 dates to purchase bulletin covers to honor or recognize someone are now available. A month’s supply of bulletin covers is $35. If there is a certain month you would like to purchase check with the office for availability. Flowers are also available to purchase for $35 for the vases or a special arrangement for the pedestal. Contact Lisa Bachman to schedule flowers or call the church office.

March 23-The Youth and Sunday School will participate in a ROCKA-THON. Support the Youth as they raise money for the food bank.

March 31-Pancake Breakfast! Join us at APPLEBEE’S. Tickets are available in the Narthex.

The annual Jim Weaver Memorial Blood Drive will be held on April 21st. Please donate and save lives!

May 3 –National Day of Prayer Continue to pray for the president

and country! Also pray for our military families and those serving in all branches of the armed forces. If you want a name of your friend or family member added to our prayer list, contact the church offices. Service members are prayed for by name every Sunday!
