Throughout the Holy Season of Lent, many people focus on becoming closer to our Lord. Some people do this by giving something up. Others spend more time reading the Bible and praying. Still others give more of their time and talents. There are so many options to bring your life closer to God’s way. Whatever your means, we hope that you will be faithful in your search and we welcome you to join us at Emmanuel as we continue our journey through Lent to the wonder of Easter.
On Wednesdays during Lent our Fellowship Hall will be filled with the appetizing aroma of Lenten Suppers. These light suppers begin at 6 pm and will be prepared each week by various members and groups of Emmanuel. We will then join in worship at 7 pm as we prepare ourselves through the lessons of Lent to better understand our Lord Jesus, his loving sacrifice and joyous resurrection. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a delicious supper and gather with us for worship. Whether you can come for supper or not, we welcome you to worship with us.
Sunday mornings at 9:30 am is Sunday School for ages 3 through 6th grade. The program is based on our Hands On Bibles that features solving puzzles which help us understand the stories in our Hands On Bibles. Come join us as we learn about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Teen Talk is for anyone in 7th grade and above. The group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am to talk about God and Jesus, how our lives are influenced by them and how we can be an influence to others around us. There are so many things that try to manipulate us away from God. Come to Teen Talk and find other teens who want to make their faith stronger and be better at dealing with ideas and things that pull us away from being Christians.
Sunday worship service is at 10:30 am and is led by Pastor Lou Aita. We welcome visitors and friends to join us for worship every Sunday.
