Fairview Township police filed charges against a Mountaintop physician stemming from alleged offenses that transpired on February 24, 2013.
Mark Anthony Gonsky, 61, of 59 Loop Road, Mountaintop, was charged with recklessly endangering another person, terrorist threats with intent to terrorize another, and disorderly conduct. Ptlm. Dennis Monk was the arresting officer. Gonsky was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Ronald Swank. Gonsky was unable to post the $5,000.00 bail and confined to the Luzerne County Prison from February 24 to February 27
Officer Monk and Det. Sgt. Phil Holbrook stated in the Affidavit of Probable Cause that on February 24th at 1:14 p. m. he received a phone call from a Good 2 Go employee stating that a patron had just been inside the store she thought was intoxicated. She stated the patron, whom she did not know but thought was a local doctor, was giving another customer a hard time and asking them for a cigarette and a light. The employee continued to state the man went outside and was leaning up against a store window. She described the vehicle as a dark colored Nissan 350 Z that she last saw going south on Route 309. Officer Monk was unable to locate it.
At 1:29 p. m., Officer Monk was dispatched to meet a complainant at the intersection of Loop and Lake Roads. The caller, Aleta Connell, stated that she was being harassed by her neighbor, Mark Gonsky. Prior to arrival, Officer Monk was dispatched to Carone’s Market for an intoxicated customer who was giving the employees a hard time.
