ST. JUDE’S STUDENTS ESSAYS CHOSEN

ST. JUDE’S STUDENTS ESSAYS CHOSEN-The American Legion Unit 781 Ladies Auxiliary in Mountaintop recently sponsored The American Essay Contest for students in fifth and sixth grades from area schools. The topic was “If you were President, what five things would you do to change our country for the better?” The entry was to include an essay that was to be at least seven paragraphs with an opening and a closing paragraph, and a drawing to illustrate the essay. The work was to be done on school time only. The awards were presented at a reception at the American Legion Post.
