Mountaintop Area Students Named To Dean’s Lists

Several Mountaintop area students have been named to the Dean’s List at various colleges and universities.

Maria Machalick has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean’s List at Lafayette College. To qualify for Dean’s List, a student must achieve at least a 3.60 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

Maria is a graduate of Crestwood High School.

John Lasko has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean’s Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the Fall 2012 semester.

Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester’s work are placed on the College’s Dean’s Honor List.

Kailey Roberts was named to Susquehanna University’s dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester. Roberts, a senior biology major, is

a 2009 graduate of Crestwood High School. She is the daughter of Steve and  Rose Roberts.

The dean’s list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester. To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Ali Ahmed and Thomas J. Bernardo have earned dean’s list honors for the Fall 2012 semester at Saint Joseph’s.

Ahmed is majoring in Chemical Biology. Bernardo is majoring in Psychology.

Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn Dean’s List status for a semester.
