MISS PA’S OUTSTANDING TEEN

MISS PA’S OUTSTANDING TEEN VISITS ST. JUDE’S-Miss Kaitlyn Miller, a Swoyersville native, won Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen title in May 2012. She is a senior at Wyoming Valley West High School. Kaitlyn recently visited St. Jude School in Mountaintop and read Put Me in the Zoo by Dr. Seuss to several classes in the gym. Miss Miller also conducted a question and answer period with the students and gave each one a personalized autographed photo as a remembrance. Kaitlyn is an award-winning competitive dancer and through her program “Kaitlyn’s Walking on Sunshine: Amputee Awareness,” she provides support for individuals and families who are dealing with life-altering changes. She is also working with the Children’s Miracle Network on behalf of children who are amputees.
