Wright Twp. Police Officers’ Assoc. Planning Annual Golf Tournament

The Wright Township Police Officers’ Association is hosting their 13th Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the Sand Springs Golf Club in Drums. It is scheduled for a 1:30 p. m. shotgun start with registration beginning at 11:30a.m. A Captain-and-Crew format will be used and the tournament will conclude with a buffet dinner, beverages, and the awarding of prizes.

The proceeds from the tournament fund several of our Community Service endeavors including the WTPOA Scholarship, which is given to a Crestwood graduate who is planning an education in the public service field. Other past recipients include the Mountaintop Food Bank, various youth sports teams, local churches, holiday donations for the needy, a bicycle rodeo, children’s’ fingerprinting programs, and the local DARE program, to name a few.

The tournament will fill quickly, as it does every year, and no one goes home empty handed. But help is needed from the Business Community. For the tournament to remain successful, donations are needed from local businesses. The association kindly asks for any contribution you can make on our behalf.

Registration fee is $90.00 per golfer and $360.00 per foursome.

The Wright Township Police Officers Association is accepting registrations, hole sponsors, and prize donations for this year’s tournament.
