St. Mary’s of Dorrance is a welcoming church. The pastor of St. Mary’s is Reverend Joseph Evanko, and Reverend Gerald Shantillo, Assistant Pastor. The weekend Mass schedule is Saturday at 5:30 p. m. and Sunday at 9 a. m.
First Holy Communion Mass will be celebrated Sunday, May 19 at 9 a. m.
Bazaar Meeting is scheduled Thursday, April 11 at 7 p. m. in the dining room.
Pierogi Making will take place Saturday, April 27 at 9 a. m. and Sunday, April 28 at noon

Altar & Rosary Society Communion Sunday is April 21, at 9 a. m. The next meeting is Mon., April 15, 2013 at 7 p. m. in the dining room. New members welcome.
The Crochet group meets on Sundays at 6 p. m. in the meeting room and the third Tuesday of the month also at 6p.m. They make Rosaries at the Tuesday meetings. Please call the office is planning to attend and make rosaries to ensure there are enough supplies.
All Youth Group members and all youth of the parish, including parents are encouraged to watch The American Bible Challenge Thursday evenings at 9p.m. on GSN. All youth who comment on Saint Mary’s Facebook page with a question and answer from that evening’s program will receive a “surprise”!! Not on Facebook.. leave a message on the parish answering machine.
Vera Bradley/Polish Pottery/ Coach BINGO-The Youth Group will sponsor a BINGO to benefit the Habitat Trip on Sunday, May 5 at 1p.m. Doors open at noon. Two Coach specials! Kitchen will be open. Cost $20 for 20 games.
Catholic Underground has started at a new location. It is hosted by Rev. Daniel A. Toomey of Gate of Heaven Church, and co-director with Dr. Jayne Klenner for the Back Mountain Senior High School Catholic Youth Group. It will take place at Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas on Saturday, April 13, 7:00 p. m. Evening includes: Holy Hour from 7 –8 p. m. and Coffee House afterward in the gym.
Collection for Saint Vincent de Paul Kitchen-The parish will begin participating in the Loaves & Fishes Program started by Ann Marie McCauley to benefit the Saint Vincent de Paul Kitchen. Each month we will collect specific items. This month we are collecting Salad Dressing. Donations can be left in Church or the social hall.
Adult Educational Series-If you liked Fr. Robert Barron’s Catholicism and the Seven Deadly Sins series, you will enjoy Untold Blessings as well. The greatest calling for us is to be a saint. Fr. Barron explains to us how our ultimate path to holiness is full of untold blessing. Come and join us as we try to better understand the joys of living out our faith. The series is scheduled as follows: St. Jude’s at 2 p. m. April 14, 21, 28 and 2 p. m. April 15, 22 and 29. At St. Mary’s at 7 p. m. on April 16, 23 and 30.
