Roberts Presents Research At National Conference

Kailey  Roberts,  of  Mountain  Top,

was  one  of  33  students  from  Susquehanna  University  who  recently  presented  research  at  the  27th

annual  National  Conference  on  Undergraduate  Research  at  University

of  Wisconsin-La  Crosse. Established  in  1987,  the  conference

is  dedicated  to  promoting  undergraduate  research  and  scholarship

done  in  partnership  with  faculty  or  other  mentors.    Students  experience

firsthand  the  processes  of  scholarly  exploration  and  discovery  that

characterize  academic  life. The  National  Conference  on  Undergraduate

Research  promotes  undergraduate  research  scholarship  and

creative  activity  done  in  partnership  with  faculty  or  other  mentors

as  a  vital  component  of  higher  education.  The  annual  conference  has

 become  a  national  celebration  of

undergraduate  scholarly  activity  involving  all  academic  disciplines  and

 all  institutions  of  higher  education.

Roberts,  a  senior  majoring  in  biology,  is  a  2009  graduate  of  Crestwood

High  School  and  the  daughter  of  Steve  and  Rose  Roberts.
