Holy Redeemer High School Holds Commencement Exercises

Holy Redeemer High School held its sixth annual commencement exercises for the 157 members of the Class of 2013 on Wednesday, May 29 at the F. M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre. A Baccalaureate Mass was held the previous night at St. Nicholas Church.

Salutatorian Cody James Januszko welcomed graduates and guests, and Valedictorian Cassandra Gill gave the farewell address. The Most Reverend Joseph Bambera, Bishop of Scranton, conferred diplomas to the graduates, who were presented by Principal Anita Sirak and Vice Principals Michael Booth and Abe Simon. School Chaplain Reverend Joseph Elston delivered the invocation, and Dr. Kathleen Hanlon, superintendent of schools, and Bishop Bambera offered remarks.

Class officers for the Class of 2013 are Michael Pahler, president; David Wert, vice president; Patrick Loftus, secretary; and Kelsey Crossin, treasurer.
