As part of the Rubik’s Cube Lending Library pilot program, fifth grade students at St. Jude School were challenged to solve the complex Rubik’s Cube.
A class set of the cubes was loaned to the fifth grade for this project. The students explored the geometric characteristics of the cube such as area, volume, perimeter, faces, and edges. The students also learned a variety of movements necessary to solve the cube in a step-by-step process.
During the allotted time frame, Jared Bozinko solved the cube while many others were very close to the solution.
